Talk Back Extra: Recommend song choices

As viewers, we can see where contestants go wrong. Whether they struggle to hit the low notes, or crack under the pressure of sustaining those highs, sometimes it's a little bit of a mystery as to what the contestants are thinking when they make their song choices each week. To be fair, they are limited somewhat in their choices; they're given a list of songs that fit in with the theme of the week, and it's first come, first serve, so sometimes the perfect song might be snagged before they get their go.

We don't have any restrictions though, so what songs do you think would suit the contestants to a "T"? Or, what song would you throw at a challenger to test their versatility? Give Karin a little Avril Lavigne maybe? Toss a little Greenday Gift's way?
